The Young Lawyers Section works to promote the interest of young and newly admitted lawyers. The section meets at 12:00 p.m. noon (MT) on the third Tuesday or Wednesday of the month (location TBD). Participation via telephone conference is also available.

Section Membership

If you are interested in joining the Young Lawyers Section, complete the Section Registration Form and return with paayment of $35 to Dayna Ferrero at the Idaho State Bar, PO Box 895, Boise, Idaho 83701.
**NOTE: To be eligible for membership in the Young Lawyers Section, you must either be 37 years of age or under; or admitted to ISB for 5 years or less.

Meetings & Events

SECTION MEETINGS

The Young Lawyers Section meets at 12:00 p.m. noon (MT) on the third Tuesday or Wednesday of the month (location TBD). Participation via telephone conference is also available.

To participate in the next meeting, you may RSVP at least 24-hours in advance via email to Dayna Ferrero - please specify if you will be attending in-person or via telephone conference. A meeting agenda and/or any additional materials (if available) will be provided to all participants via email prior to the meeting and posted online for reference. NOTE: Section meeting dates/location are subject to change.

Bar Quest is an excellent opportunity for YLS members to provide service, guidance, and information to future Idaho lawyers about jobs in the legal profession. It is also an excellent opportunity for current law students to learn more about potential employment opportunities and the day-to-day tasks of an attorney.
